The 70 year captivity is over. In 520 B.C. Nehemiah rebuilds the walls in Jerusalem, at the urging of Haggai & Zechariah, Zerubbabel rebuilds the temple. The temple was completed on March 12th 515 B.C. and Ezra became the priest.

In the year 479 B.C. the Jewess Esther, became Queen of Persia. During this time Malachi, the last book of the Old Testament was written.

The four hundred year period from Malachi to John the Baptist is known as the silent years. The Temple was in a continual state of dis-repair and the Persian Empire was eventually conquered by the Greeks, led by Alexander the Great 334 years before Christ.

Eventually the Romans conquered the Greeks and sixty-three years before the Messiah, the Roman general Pompey the Great, took control of Jerusalem. So it was that the whole land of Israel, became part of the Roman Empire, just as Daniel had prophesied.

Under Herod 19 years before Christ, the rebuilding of the third temple began.

The last Old Testament prophet was John the Baptiser, his message was;

“Prepare the way for the Lord.”

The stories are set out in around 10 minute segments and the DVD has a running time of approximately 1 hour 20 minutes.

The Glory Story

Content for the New Testament.

All of the stories are in chronological order and connect together to make perfect sense.

Part 1 & part 2:

The Birth, the life and miracles of Jesus.
The Arrest, the Trial, the Crucifixion, the Death, the Resurrection and the Ascension of our Lord.
The preaching of the Gospel & the day of Pentecost.

Part 3 & part 4:

These two sections are mainly the life of the Apostle Paul, as set out in the book of Acts. When you see the book of Acts as a story, with a beginning and an ending, it is quite easy to see at what point Paul wrote his letters in this unfolding story.

So we have included in the story, at what point Paul wrote his letters. Coupled with the animated maps of Paul’s missionary trips, this production really does bring the New Testament to life in an amazing way.

The Life of Paul is a truly amazing story, as not only have we included the animated maps and at what point Paul wrote his letters, we have also built in a chronological timeline, so you the viewer can experience what was actually happening in the lives of the first century believers.

To bring this production to a climax, we have built into the story line the history of the Roman Emperors. Augustus, Tiberius, Caligula, Claudius, Nero and Vespasian.

What Roman Emperor was in power at what time, how they died and what Emperor succeeded them?

It’s all in The Glory Story!

After Paul’s execution traditionally under Nero, sometime after the great fire of Rome in 64 A.D.,
we continue the story to include the dramatic historic events leading up to the destruction of the 3rd temple and Jerusalem in the year 70 A.D.

The stories are set out in around 10 minute segments and the DVD has a running time of approximately 40 minutes.
